From Computer Science graduate to building the systems businesses run on.

I own the technology stack at ARA Travel, a Saudi Destination Management Company, working with finance, HR, marketing and operations teams. A Computer Science graduate of King Abdulaziz University, I lead digital transformation, turning business problems into deployed systems across cloud, agentic AI, automation, and integration.

Over the past two years, I've architected and built a multi-agent AI travel platform (ARA Brain), rebuilt the company's digital infrastructure on Microsoft 365 and Next.js, integrated 21 external SaaS systems, and launched four customer-facing web properties. I cut annual tourism-management and booking system costs by about 70%, and automation saves about 5 hours of repetitive work a day.

Before that, at Najeeb Auto, I designed the company's CRM architecture from the ground up, moving the lead lifecycle from manual email forwarding to a fully classified, auto-routed pipeline across six departments.

A 6-agent AI system that ingests customer inquiries via WhatsApp and email, routes them through specialized agents (Concierge, Email, WhatsApp, Contract, Operations, Staff Review), generates travel itineraries using Claude Sonnet with tool-calling, and handles end-to-end quote dispatch with human-in-the-loop approval for high-value quotes.

Built from scratch and currently govern the entire technology stack for a Saudi Destination Management Company. Microsoft 365 tenant administration, six SharePoint sites, four customer-facing web properties, device fleet management, and a portfolio of negotiated SaaS contracts.

Stood up Microsoft 365 from zero: Entra ID, Exchange, SharePoint hubs (PMO · HR · Finance · Sourcing · IT · Product Dev), device-based BitLocker with key escrow
Architected the Contracts Hub with an active/expired metadata model, enabling sub-30-second contract retrieval across the entire portfolio

Each hub is a working system in its own right: a finance system for expenses and subscriptions, an HR request system, a PMO system, a candidate booking system for interviews, and a single source for company data that the rest of them read from
Took the brand from a plain link to a full presence on Google: a business profile with a knowledge panel, sitelinks under the site, and the actual experiences listed under the brand, backed by Tag Manager and GA4 with the core events instrumented and the product catalogue syncing to Merchant Center on its own
Published the previous site in three languages, Arabic, English and Chinese, because the visitors the business wants do not all read the same one
Led enterprise security hardening and incident-response readiness across the Microsoft 365 environment, including a reusable investigation and remediation playbook
Negotiated and managed a portfolio of SaaS and supplier contracts across the travel ecosystem, spanning booking, payments, and distribution partners
The WordPress and WooCommerce site ran until October 2026, when the Ara Travel Platform replaced it. Everything else here is still running and I still work on it

Project 04 · Modern Web Platform Rebuild

ARA Travel Web Platform

Lead Engineer and Architect · Full-stack Next.js rebuild

Architected and built a full-stack customer-facing web platform to replace the WordPress site, integrating with the ARA Brain backend for real-time itinerary browsing, quote acceptance, payment flows, and customer portal features. Built as a server-rendered application with strict type-safety and tenant isolation enforced at the database layer.

Built with Next.js 15 App Router, TypeScript, and React 19, organized into modular server actions and API routes with end-to-end type safety
Designed a Supabase database schema with Row-Level Security (RLS) policies enforcing tenant isolation at the database layer
Integrated Supabase Auth for session management, Microsoft Graph API for email transport, and outbound supplier webhooks
Delivered a fully bilingual experience (Arabic RTL + English LTR) with proper locale routing, SEO alternates, and structured data for search engine indexing
One platform serving three audiences at once: a customer portal, a staff admin, and a supplier portal, each with its own permissions and its own view of the same booking
Booking is not one shape: a catalogue product, an a la carte item, and a composed itinerary all move through the same pricing and payment path, with payments behind a provider interface so the gateway can change without touching the booking code
Covered by an automated test suite, unit tests alongside end-to-end browser runs, so any change to pricing or availability gets checked before it ever reaches a customer
Paused for now and replaced by the Ara Travel Platform, a separate project on stronger technology, at lower cost and easier to keep developing

Marketing Analyst by title, CRM Architect in practice

Designed a 3-stage CRM transformation for a car dealership. The work moved from documenting the chaotic manual lead-routing reality, through mapping a semi-automated current state, to architecting an end-to-end automated lead pipeline with classification logic spanning six departments.

Project 08 · Operations Automation

Nine Automations Running Unattended

Design, build, and operation

Nine systems that run on their own and do work that used to take people hours every week. Two of them answer customers, three read and summarise and send, two carry the internal requests and the partner mail, and two do the data entry on official portals. Six need no server at all, and anything that reaches a customer passes a person first.

Inbox agent. Checks the company inboxes every ten minutes, reads the new messages, writes the right reply with the product details in it, and hands it to the department that should answer. Built over three versions, and the current one follows the thread, so it knows what was already said
WhatsApp agent. Takes the customer request on WhatsApp, asks for the trip details, and prices it from the supplier contracts instead of guessing. The quote then goes to a staff member to approve before the customer sees it
Contract reader. Every hour it opens any new contract that arrived in the document library and pulls the rates, the seasons, the taxes and fees, and the cancellation terms into a database. Instead of searching through PDFs, the rate is in a table
Weekly executive report. Every Sunday morning it emails one page: how many visitors the site had, which countries they came from, which pages they read, and the difference from last week. Nobody has to open an analytics dashboard
Tender monitor. Checks the government tenders portal every week in the categories the business works in, and emails the team only what is new
Employee request system. An employee submits a request from inside Teams, and the manager approves or rejects it in one click. Each employee sees only their own requests, not anyone else’s
Supplier and buyer mailer. One list holds the suppliers and the buyers. Tick a name and it receives the email written for its type, and the system records that it was sent so it never goes twice. Mail leaves from the sales account and replies come back to whoever owns that account
Portal data entry. You sign in yourself, then the program searches 474 official activity codes one at a time and selects each one, writing what it finished into an Excel file. If it stops, it continues from the last code instead of starting over. It shipped with a 25-page guide so someone who is not a programmer can run it
Lead data collection. Collects business data from Google Maps and from the companies’ own websites, and takes the official email from each company site because Maps does not publish one. It then checks that the domain really receives mail before accepting the address, drops the duplicates and anyone already contacted, and loads what is left into the contacts list ready to use

Five services on Cloudflare over a single database, carrying the whole commercial path from a visitor reading a page, to an order, to a signed contract, to an invoice paid in instalments, all of it operated from one panel. What makes it worth studying is where the guarantees live: inside the database and a test suite, so correctness survives a busy operator.

How it was built

Five services, one database. A static bilingual site, a services store, a blog rendered from the database, an API, and an operations panel behind an identity gate. They share one SQLite database at the edge: 30 tables built through 31 ordered migrations, so every service reads the same truth instead of keeping its own copy
The commercial path, end to end. An order becomes a proposal, an approved proposal becomes a contract, a signed contract becomes an invoice with a real instalment schedule, and each payment closes against that schedule. Every stage moves the next one, so the state of a client is a fact in the system rather than something reconstructed from memory
A contract that cannot be forged or quietly altered. Signing writes a cryptographic signature over the contract content using a key the client never sees, and a signed contract freezes. Editing one that was already sent returns it to draft rather than changing what the client agreed to. The approval record is append-only and the database refuses updates and deletes on it, which means the guarantee survives a bug in the application above it
An audit trail the application cannot rewrite. Every action taken in the panel is recorded with who did it and to what. The log is protected by database triggers that abort any update or delete, so the record of what happened is not at the mercy of the code that writes it
An owned booking engine. Availability rules and exceptions generate the bookable slots, a pending hold expires on its own, and a confirmed booking creates the calendar event with the meeting link. Two people cannot take the same slot, and a cancellation frees it again, which is guaranteed by the database and proved by an automated test rather than assumed
The client relationship, in one place. Customers, their history, their deals on a pipeline, and a private link each client can open to see their own proposals, contracts and invoices. Incoming and outgoing email is threaded inside the panel, so answering a client never means leaving the system, and the dashboard opens on what needs a decision today with a link to the screen that ends it
Privacy is a feature of the software. A single action erases a person from the system: the order, the mail, the notification history and the private link, all of it, with the erasure itself written to the audit trail, so data protection is something the software does on demand
The tests guard correctness. Automated tests run on every push and block a merge that breaks instalment arithmetic, the database guarantees, bilingual integrity, or payment signature verification, and they run against the real migrations rather than a convenient copy. A separate visual audit opens 23 screens at two widths in both languages and fails on a clipped control label or letter-spacing applied to Arabic
Safe to change, and safe to leave alone. A migration rehearses on a staging database before production and the schema is checked before anyone is asked to confirm. The estate checks itself on a schedule, failed mail retries on its own, the database backs up nightly with credentials stripped from the export, and online collection stays switched off until the owner switches it on, behind a button that first runs a real check against the provider
The method ships as a kit. Everything used to build this is packaged so it can be copied into a new project: written rules that stop anything unverified from being published, a ready design system, the deploy steps in order, and scripts that check the site before it goes out. Someone who does not write code can follow it and end up with a system at the same level, instead of buying a template that looks like every other template

A contract that cannot be forged or quietly altered. Signing writes a cryptographic signature over the contract content using a key the client never sees, and a signed contract freezes. Editing one that was already sent returns it to draft rather than changing what the client agreed to. The approval record is append-only and the database refuses updates and deletes on it, which means the guarantee survives a bug in the application above it
An audit trail the application cannot rewrite. Every action taken in the panel is recorded with who did it and to what. The log is protected by database triggers that abort any update or delete, so the record of what happened is not at the mercy of the code that writes it
An owned booking engine. Availability rules and exceptions generate the bookable slots, a pending hold expires on its own, and a confirmed booking creates the calendar event with the meeting link. Two people cannot take the same slot, and a cancellation frees it again, which is guaranteed by the database and proved by an automated test rather than assumed
The client relationship, in one place. Customers, their history, their deals on a pipeline, and a private link each client can open to see their own proposals, contracts and invoices. Incoming and outgoing email is threaded inside the panel, so answering a client never means leaving the system, and the dashboard opens on what needs a decision today with a link to the screen that ends it
Privacy is a feature of the software. A single action erases a person from the system: the order, the mail, the notification history and the private link, all of it, with the erasure itself written to the audit trail, so data protection is something the software does on demand
The tests guard correctness. Automated tests run on every push and block a merge that breaks instalment arithmetic, the database guarantees, bilingual integrity, or payment signature verification, and they run against the real migrations rather than a convenient copy. A separate visual audit opens 23 screens at two widths in both languages and fails on a clipped control label or letter-spacing applied to Arabic
Safe to change, and safe to leave alone. A migration rehearses on a staging database before production and the schema is checked before anyone is asked to confirm. The estate checks itself on a schedule, failed mail retries on its own, the database backs up nightly with credentials stripped from the export, and online collection stays switched off until the owner switches it on, behind a button that first runs a real check against the provider
The method ships as a kit. Everything used to build this is packaged so it can be copied into a new project: written rules that stop anything unverified from being published, a ready design system, the deploy steps in order, and scripts that check the site before it goes out. Someone who does not write code can follow it and end up with a system at the same level, instead of buying a template that looks like every other template
